Faculty
The people who teach.
Josianne Charron and Pauline teach at Safah Academy. The academy grows only as carefully as the students require.

Founder and teacher
Josianne Charron
Teaches: English and French
My name is Josianne Charron, English teacher and CEO of this company. But don't be intimidated. People are very comfortable with me. I'm smiley and full of life. During our classes, we will explore a lot of your passions while learning English. I include games and fun projects to keep you excited about learning. Since I'm also flexible in my way of teaching, I will modify the lessons according to your special needs. I'm looking forward to meeting you!

Teacher
Pauline
Teaches: German
Hello and welcome! My name is Pauline, and I'm so excited to be part of your learning journey. I was born and raised in Germany, and German is my first language. I moved to the United States 11 years ago, and I'm happy to have the opportunity to share my knowledge and be part of your learning experience.
Outside of teaching, I'm a proud mom of three boys whom I homeschool, and one of my greatest passions is reading. I love the way learning opens doors to new ideas, new perspectives, and endless possibilities. As both a parent and an instructor, I believe that everyone learns in their own way and at their own pace. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, building your skills, learning from mistakes, and celebrating your progress.
I want you to know that you don't have to be perfect or have all the answers to succeed. What matters most is your willingness to show up, keep learning, and believe in yourself, even when something feels challenging. I'm here to encourage you, support you, and help you recognize your own potential. I look forward to getting to know each of you and being part of your journey toward growth and success. Remember, every new skill begins with a willingness to try, and every step forward is a reason to be proud.
How we teach our students
Each lesson has a theme. The hour explores it through conversation, play, games, listening, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, and writing. The teacher changes the depth to fit how much the student already understands, how old they are, and whether the class is private or a group.
The theme usually carries something else with it: history, art, science, or another subject, so the language has a real topic to hold.
The plan stays flexible. The teacher adapts the lesson and the way of teaching so the student leaves satisfied.
The faculty is growing
English, French, Spanish, and German teachers are being hired so every new student can keep the same quality of attention.
