Safah Academy is Josianne Charron’s language studio. The teaching did not change. The name, the faculty, and the room around it did.
Who is Josianne
My name is Josianne Charron, founder of Safah Academy and English teacher. I've been running this business since 2004. I have a degree in Arts and Letters, a certificate in psychosocial intervention, a BA in Social Work, 7 years of experience in intervention and 21 years of experience in teaching. I have a passion for helping people. I love connecting with them, so this company is perfect to do so. I'm excited about all of our students' success and am looking forward to supply all the help you need to achieve your language goals.
History of Safah
This company started in 2004 in my tiny apartment, when I was only 18, with a few children needing help with their English at school. Back then, it was named Cours d'anglais Josianne Charron. Their trust and satisfaction made me expand my services to more people. Eventually, my schedule got filled up to the point that I needed help to supply the demand. I explored the opportunity of hiring other teachers and the Academy grew to what it is today: a team of passionate teachers, helping people of all backgrounds to learn the language they desire while having success and fun.

This Academy is conceived in a way that we combine learning with fun projects and games, without omitting the importance of grammar and the more serious things to learn. Our teachers are passionate, patient, and are encouraged to include as many positive connections for your brain as possible while still achieving your precious goals. What puts us apart from others is our capacity to connect other learning subjects, like geography, science, history, culture, and more with learning a new language which greatly augment the quality of the lessons.
